Beauty Even in Death

When I observed this dead tree at the base of Burke Mountain it struck me how beautiful it was in the landscape. My cousin has just died and this tree helped me realize there is beauty even in death. The energy/spirit of the tree had gone to reside somewhere in the non physical realm and its physical properties would eventually fall back to the earth. This is the process of nature (of which we are a part of) and it is a beautiful cycle. Our bodies will all go back to the earth one day and our spirits will live on within the energy of the universe.
